This plant is native to China but is now widely cultivated throughout the world. Chinese herbal medicine has extensively used chrysanthemum in its applications. Chinese herbalists claim some of its benefits include:

How to make Chrysanthemum tea?

Hot Tea: Put 3 grams of loose tea for each 7-9 oz./200-260 ml of hot water, temperature about 95℃ (203℉). Steep 3-7 min.

Iced Tea: To make 1 liter/quart, put 36 grams of loose tea into a teapot. Pour 315 ml of boiling water over tea. Steep 5-10 minutes. Fill a serving pitcher one-quarter with cold water. Using a strainer, pour the tea into the pitcher. Add honey or sugar to your liking.
